FINALLY reunited with the one and only love of my life, Trina! Met her in Houston last night to help her out at the Halloween expo and trade show. We set up the booth today in record timing, and if you ask me, it looks DAMN good. Better pictures to come. Just havin' a lazy day in our hotel room eating pizza and catching up on some z's. Reunited & it feels so good! :)

Just a warning this is probably a pointless read for anyone but myself...
Ugh, so my sister is coming tomorrow which I'm super excited about but it also means its about time to finally clean my house..which is a fucking disaster. I've pretty much been avoiding being home at all costs because its so messy and I've had no time. Then when I do have time to clean its the last thing I even want to think about because I can finally relax!
So I decided today was the day. I've gotten tons of shit done today including: calling the vet, printing out scripts, getting my check, paying off holds, depositing my check into my checking and savings, cleaning my car, doing a load of laundry, and then I decided to go home and clean my house.
The worst parts were my closet (which I haven't stepped foot in in months) and my kitchen (which includes every dish I own piled in the sink...ew.) I decided to start with my closet and since my car was clean and most of my closet/room was dirty clothes I decided "why not just pack up all of my clothes and start moving my closet over to Jeff's!" Sounded like a great and fun idea but of course was way more time consuming than necessary. I've managed to bring all of my clothes, hangers, and shoes over to Jeff's for washing. I even got my closet over at his place partially set up. All of this is very exciting and stuff and happened relatively quickly. But then when I got home there was an even bigger mess waiting for me!
I don't want to move more of my room or stuff over to Jeff's yet because with my sister coming I'd like her and I to be able to have a silly slumber party at my house a couple of nights and it would essentially just make Jeff's house storage rather than any more of my home than it already is. Plus, Duke is sick and I can't move him yet until I take him to the vet tomorrow. So then I just ended up boxing up most of my room and putting it in my closet. I figure I can just keep boxing up things and putting them in my closet and then slowly bring the boxes over to Jeff's house. I am really ready to start staying there permanently though and it's basically just waiting on my family to come and go for graduation.
But even attempting to bring over my closet made me remember why everyone hates moving. You can really manage to accumulate a lot of shit over two years. When I moved out of my parents I tried to be as minimalistic as possible and suddenly I have tons of useless shit again! What the hell? So now I'm trying to toss as much as I can especially since Jeff is such a pack rat as it is.
I now have my room picked up for the most part but the rest of my house is entirely unmanageable. I just want to grab Duke and my other essentials and leave for Jeff's and never come back! But I know I can't. I just cracked a big ol' beer and loaded a bowl for a break and I'm just hoping it can remaing a break. I really can't afford to stop working because I have so much to do.
I still need to do the kitchen (which is still just as bad if not worse than what I mentioned above) and the bathroom. And vacuum! Really need to vacuum...
Plus I need to read those scripts and get back to Francisco asap! So stressed. Not to mention I still need to do my scene design final project and finish my portfolio website by Thursday. And that is going to be hard with my sister in town. I just want to get everything back in order so I feel normal again and can be social again and stop being so busy and stressed out. But for now....I still got tons to do so I should stop wasting my time on livejournal.

Since my last post I've been pretty busy. This last week was the final week of classes. This upcoming week is finals week but all I have due are two projects and not until Thursday.
SO I am officially done with all of my classes and my Capstone is complete and turned in! I could not be happier.
Oh! I also won that award I mentioned in a previous post. The ceremony was Monday night and my parents and Jeff went with me :) I found this super cute vintage dress in a store off of South Congress the other day and I love it. I'll probably be reusing the whole look for graduation which is in 7DAYS!!!

Now that I'm done it is all about celebration time! Even though I still have scripts to read and projects to do.
Last night Opal Divines had a party for St. Eds graduates and St. Eds paid for your first drink! It was tons of fun. After having a beer at the house Sarah, Eileen and I all walked up to Opals to meet Nina, Jimmy, and Hunter. Got a free brew and ordered some delicious foods and I think it was around this time it finally hit Sarah and I that we are done and graduating. I just feel so...free? I dunno. So we were enjoying ourselves. They had misters going outside and it was super nice. Then Eileen and I decided it'd be a good idea to get tequila shots...then Sarah felt left out so we all took another one... and then JR just gave us all a third one for fun. Soo I'm feeling a little under the weather today after the rest of the drinking that commenced later on. :P
We tried to invite some kids at Opals along with some other friends over to the palm plex for a party. It was great. All my favorites came like Mal, Cass, and John. Also the other night we met some of the neighbor kids all of which go to St. Eds so they ended up coming by and they were pretty cool. Good conversations and giggles. Jean also ended up being able to come later and Jeff showed up for a beer by the end of the night. Super fun times and the perfect celebration!! I'm ready for MORE
My sister gets here late Monday night and I can not waiiiiiit. So pretty much once she's here I intend to spend all my time with her somehow. Then graduation on Saturday. Eileen Sarah and I wanna make a day of getting ready and drink mimosas...so stoked.
Duke has had diarrhea and that makes me sad. I hope he's okay and it goes away soon or else it'll be vet time tomorrow or Monday. *fingers crossed*
And apparently all my friends lost their phones last night so I can't get a hold of anyone...lamers

Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
It was such a good read couldn't put it down. I got it for my friends for Christmas and they too loved it. The sequel is coming out in September. I love books that are in a series and that keep you reading. It's exciting and thought provoking and leaves you wanting more.

So my morning started out by getting an email telling me that I have been nominated by faculty and staff as one of the outstanding senior students of the Theater Department. On Monday the 27th I will be receiving an award and $1,000!!!!! Score! Finally feeling fully appreciated. :)
Then Charli and I went to crew hours to find out they don't need us anymore which sucks because I need a lot more hours. But Joe and I talked about it and he told me he would make sure I got a good grade. He said that he would find some work for us next week. And he even gave us an extra hour today even though we were there for only 20 minutes. So I feel much better about that.
I also have two jobs lined up. I'll for sure be getting paid for one of them, but not too much. I will be applying some special effects for a throat slitting scene. Then in May I will be helping Tara work on an indie feature film. :D Tara also said that if I have a professional make up kit she could get me more work and I told her how I'm getting one as a graduation gift. Awesome.
Also I got paid for the photo shoot I posted pictures of which is great because I have a $60 hold on my diploma from library fines.
I also bought my cap and gown today!
So things are going pretty perfect for me. At least for today.
